A Tornado in the Saddle

Fast furious,fun B series Western
Columbia Pictures head honcho Harry Cohn considered William Berke the
best B movie director in the business;this little gem shows why.

This is everything a B Western should be;fast furious fun.

The film never stops moving except when Western Swing legend Bob Wills
and the boys treat us to a few tunes.

In real life Bob was known to have a prickly temper and this film plays
on that. People throughout the film are telling him that his hot head will
get him into trouble. Hero Russell Hayden even has to punch him out a couple
of times which is odd because they are both supposed to be good guys.

This is the second of the Hayden/Wills Westerns to make it to DVD in Sonys
fine MOD series,lets hope more is to follow.

As always from Sony the digital remastering is top drawer!
